Look out, Baby Yoda, there’s a new kid on the block. Sonic the Hedgehog fans can get a glimpse of the blue wonder in his younger years in a recent trailer for his upcoming film debut.

Baby Sonic is seen speeding around Green Hill Zone as his older self narrates his backstory in Japanese. At the end of the trailer, Baby Sonic presents a sunflower to the viewer that looks exactly like the classic sunflower designs from his original video game.

Paramount Pictures and Sega of Japan must feel confident in Baby Sonic’s ability to sell the film because he’s even being featured in his very own poster. To further promote the film, Japanese fans can also receive keychains of Baby Sonic.

Sonic has been through several redesigns for the film, but this latest revelation just might be the most surprising yet. While Jim Carrey, who stars as the film’s villain, wasn’t completely happy with the previous redesign, there’s no way he could resist the charm of Sonic’s baby form.

Sonic the Hedgehog zooms into theaters on Feb. 14, 2020.
