Dad Wins The Internet By Challenging Kids To Draw Him Sleeping So He Can Take A Nap

Little did Michael Weber know he would become a viral sensation after briefly resting his eyes one snowy afternoon in Colorado.

The father of four, who has served in the US military and works long shifts as an operating room nurse, offered to watch the kids as his wife Monica went to buy groceries for the family.

Upon her return, Monica couldn’t help but notice Michael’s ingenious method of getting in a much-needed nap while still occupying the kids with a wholesome activity. As he slept on the living room couch, their four children, with pencils and sketchbooks in each of their hands, were quietly drawing “life art” of their dad.

It turns out it was all his idea. He challenged them to a drawing contest. The winner would receive candy as a price, and he would pose on the family sofa as the subject of their art. Honestly, you have to respect the man for such an inventive plot. You also have to respect the kids for having the discipline to carry out his plan flawlessly.

Monica noted that due to his military background and work in the medical field he is a light sleeper, so the activity was still under control even with his eyes closed. Meanwhile the kids even shushed their mother as she entered the room, so as not to disturb his slumber and interrupt their drawing contest in the process.

Take note, parents. This is a master of his craft at work.
