With the success of the Go The F*** To Sleep series, parents have more choices than ever when it comes to the bedtime stories market. One book that might have slipped under the radar is a bedtime story featuring none other than Star Wars villain Darth Vader.

The dark side has never looked sweeter than in Goodnight Darth Vader by Jeffrey Brown. It showcases a heartwarming and often humorous alternate universe where Skywalker twins Luke and Leia were never separated from their father.

It’s a great way for fans to find some insight into what Anakin / Vader’s relationship with his kids would have been like if he had been able to raise them himself. It’s also a great way for fans to introduce Star Wars to their own children in a format they can appreciate.

And it’s not the first book of its kind, either. Jeffrey Brown has also written and illustrated a whole series of Vader-centric books for kids and parents alike.

Other books in the series include Vader’s Little Princess, which focus on the father-daughter relationship between Vader and Leia, and Darth Vader and Son which focus on his bond with Luke. All of them make great gifts for the Jedi Masters in your life.
