Dyan thought he would never see his two children and wife Alik, who was pregnant with their third child, again.
They were thousands of miles away in Fort Worth, Texas while he was being held at a refugee camp in Africa as his village in Sudan had been ravaged by war.
But not all hope was lost. Two Forth Worth moms with The Village Church did everything they could through a local nonprofit Christian organization called Catholic Charities to reunite the family torn apart by war and separated by an ocean.
Although they were told “It’ll be a miracle if this happens.”, they were miraculously able to not only match Dyan with his wife and kids, but resettle all of them in Texas.
