Kirby, Kirby, Kirby – that’s the name you should know! Kirby, Kirby, Kirby – has a new game exclusively coming to the Nintendo Switch!
Observant gamers on Twitter recently noticed an interesting listing on the Play Nintendo website. Nintendo apparently listed a new Kirby game ahead of schedule, and it’s a sequel to Kirby Fighters. The new game is a downloadable title and will cost $19.99 USD.

Nintendo even went so far as to provide a brief description of Kirby Fighters 2, the follow-up to 2014’s Kirby Fighters Deluxe on the 3DS:
Choose from a cast of Kirby’s most iconic copy abilities-including the brand-new Wrestler ability-and duke it out to be the last Kirby standing. Familiar friends and foes like Bandana Waddle Dee and King Dedede also make an appearance as playable characters in the Kirby Fighters 2 game, available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch system.
The previously unannounced title has seemingly been delisted from the site as quickly and mysteriously as it arrived, but the cat’s out of the bag now.
And honestly, while a Kirby Star Allies sequel would be preferable for most players, there’s no denying that the Kirby Fighters formula is a perfect match for the Switch, with its multiplayer mayhem and mechanics.
