Nintendo Doesn’t Hold Back In New Universal Studios Ad

In a recent ad posted to Nintendo’s social media accounts, the company showed off its new Super Nintendo World theme park at Universal Studios Japan with the help of singers Galantis and Charli XCX.

The ad confirms the park’s usage of a nifty electronic wristband, but goes one step further by revealing the band’s connectivity with a Super Nintendo World smartphone app.

Mario fans will be delighted at how faithful the park sticks to the plumber’s roots while still keeping things fresh with modern sensibilities incorporated throughout. If this is any indication, Nintendo’s partnership with Universal / Illumination studios to make a Super Mario movie is sure to be a winner.
