Following President Joe Biden’s fall last week, the White House physician for former Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump raised concerns about the current president’s condition, implying that something was wrong with him.
“I served as White House physician under THREE Presidents,” Dr. Ronny Jackson posted in a tweet. “I’ve seen what it takes physically AND mentally to do the job. I can tell you right now that the way Biden is hiding from the public is a MAJOR red flag. Something’s not right!”
Jackson’s comments came after Biden fell several times last week while attempting to walk up the stairs to Air Force One, which itself came on the heels of Biden referring to Vice President Kamala Harris as “President Harris”.
The Biden administration attributed his fall to the wind, and insisted that he was “100% fine”.
Biden’s cognitive health has repeatedly been called into question, before and after his election. During his presidential campaign, he publicly confused his wife for his sister and went on a freewheeling rant about an encounter with a “bad dude” named “Corn Pop”.
Some have speculated that Biden’s staff members were trying to prevent him from making too many public appearances on the campaign trail to shield him from further debacles, instead opting for more manageable Zoom conferences from the comfort of his posh estate.
To date, he has not yet given the traditional State of the Union address, which also has sparked rumors that his administration does not feel confident in his abilities. New presidents typically deliver the speech mere weeks after their inauguration.
His gaffes have become so frequent that Russian president Vladimir Putin felt comfortable openly challenging Biden to a live debate. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki turned down the offer.
