On the heels of an incoming Nintendo Direct, it’s been reported that Overwatch will be available on Switch next month. The suggested release dates are October 15 in North America and October 18 in Europe. Usually this would be announced at BlizzCon, which will take place this November, but with an earlier-than-expected launch it looks like Blizzard decided to treat fans sooner rather than later.

There had already been speculation of an Overwatch release on the Switch after boxart for the Switch version began leaking from retailers last week, but this latest news all but confirms it.

Nintendo and Blizzard have gotten closer recently, with the release of Diablo III on Switch earlier this year. Their budding partnership continues with this latest development.
