Pokemon Trading Card Classic is being released. A sneak peek of the product will premier at the Pokemon World Championship.
A new Pokemon animated series with Netflix was announced. The venture will be called Pokemon Concierge.
In the video game department, Pokemon Unite will be updated with a new Pokemon, Zacian, which will feature sword abilities and new Holowear. Use the gift code: POKEMONDAY in Pokemon Unite to receive a special gift.
Pokemon Cafe Remix updates on Nintendo Switch/Mobile was unveiled, featuring Pokemon from the Paldean region (Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly). An in-game Great Chef outfit for Greninja is also available today.
Pokemon Masters EX receives updates with characters from Sword/Shield, such as Hop/Zapdos, Bede, Marnie/Moltres, and Leon/Charizard. Two in-game bonuses such as 3,000 gems and 100 scouts were also mentioned.
Pokemon Sleep, which was originally alluded to years ago, was finally given a proper explanation and release window for later this year. Pokemon Sleep is a mobile app for Android/iOS that appears to be compatible with a PokeBall-like device called the Pokemon Go Plus + (yes, those are two pluses). The aim of the game is to make you “look forward to waking up in the morning”. The game is set on an island where you will find Snorlax and Professor Neroli. The way to play is to get a good night’s sleep as you lay beside your phone at night with three sleep types measured (dozing, snoozing, and slumbering). There are several sleep styles in game (one-eyed sleep, curled-up sleep, etc). Basically, it’s a glorified sleep analysis app that measures and grades your sleep rhythms.
The Pokemon Go Plus + can sing in the voice of Pikachu and is also compatible with Pokemon Go (obviously) and will be available on July 14th, 2023. You will get a special Snorlax wearing a sleep cap with your purchase of it.
Updates for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were announced – including new paradox Pokemon which look like variations of Legendary Pokemon like. One is called Walking Wake (Pokemon Scarlet), the other is Iron Leaves (Pokemon Violet). These Pokemon will be available in Tera Raid events following the end of the Presents.
Pokemon Home support will also be coming to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in early 2023.
DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet called ‘The Hidden Treasure of Zero’ was announced. Part 1 of the DLC is called ‘The Teal Mask’, while Part 2 is called ‘The Indigo Mask’. ‘The Teal Mask’ will be coming in Fall 2023, while ‘The Indigo Mask’ is coming in Winter 2023.
In Part 1, you will be traveling to a new area on vacation, while Part 2 sees you visiting another school. The DLC also features two brand-new Pokemon (as well as some old favorites) and are available for pre-order now.
