If you ever want to feel like you’ve entered a video game without paying for an expensive VR experience, you’d probably want to check out a Comic Con, Anime Expo, or gaming convention nearby. You know, places and events that attract a lot of cosplayers.
But sometimes you’ll encounter people who naturally share an uncanny resemblance to video game or anime characters. Here are the top examples of moments when real people looked like video game characters.

Judge Judy Guest = Senpai from Friday Night Funkin‘
A clip from the popular reality court show Judge Judy went viral after an eccentric plaintiff in one episode caught stood out for his overly dramatic reactions and comical behavior. However, he started standing out for more than that, as many netizens noticed his striking resemblance to the character Senpai from the rhythm game Friday Night Funkin’.
Complete with his buttoned-down blue-collared shirt, red tie, blue eyes, and wavy blonde hair – it’s hard to deny the similarities. You almost have to wonder if he’s a FNF fan who intentionally styled his hair and dressed that way.

Steve Irwin aka The Crocodile Hunter = Pokémon Trainer Fanart
Technically, this one is art imitating life rather than the other way around, but it’s so impressive that it had to be featured on this list. It’s fanart of the late Australian zookeeper / conservationist Steve Irwin drawn in the style of a classic Pokemon trainer.
The artwork was conceived and illustrated by vivinkart and posted to InstaGram. It looks so much like official art from the Pokémon games that I thought it really was GameFreak paying homage to the real-life Crocodile Hunter. The inclusion of Totodile and Krokorok in the background is just icing on the cake.
Pokémon trainer Steve Irwin is striking a pose that exudes his outgoing personality. And everything from his khaki polo, khaki shorts, and rugged brown work boots instantly brings back memories to one of the only real people who could’ve been a true Pokémon master in another life.

Leslie David Baker from The Office = Doc Lewis from Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out
The long-running classic sitcom The Office has given the world many things. Especially memes. Lots and lots of memes. And of those memes, perhaps none is as widely used as the annoyed face of the perpetually grumpy Stanley Hudson portrayed by actor Leslie David Baker. (who, by the way, is getting his own spin-off series)
But beyond providing the world with a relatable office personality, many viewers claim Leslie David Baker also bears a striking resemblance to the classic gaming icon Doc Lewis from Nintendo’s Punch-Out.

Adam Sandler = Don Flamenco from Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out
And while we’re on the topic of Punch-Out, actor Adam Sandler also happens to have more than a passing resemblance to one of the game’s opponents: Don Flamenco.

Belle Delphine = Perfect World Mobile Character
Pictures of a Perfect World Mobile character resembling popular streamer Belle Delphine (who is perhaps most well-known for selling her own bath water to fans online) began popping up all over Taiwan where the series has a large following. Of course, Belle Delphine generally looks somewhat like an MMORPG character as it is, so it could just be a coincidence.
